You don't see this everyday. 5087 is loading on the 7th Ave SW transit right of way for a route 103 McKenzie while 7991 passes between 5087 and an unidentified CTrain car working a route 1 Forest Lawn.

There is only one reason I felt I had to take this shot. It wasn't for the model of bus I was seeing, it was the fleet number. 999 is seen running Out of Service on 11th St. SW at 6th Ave SW. My thanks goes out to the lady behind the wheel for slowing down enough for me to capture the shot.

Now here's one for nostalgia. 2075 leads a three car consist along the 7th Ave SW transit right of way headed for McKnight Station while 2014 brings up the rear of a three car consist headed for Dalhousie Station. This is what you saw in the days of the start of LRT (CTrain) service in Calgary.

I wanted to take this shot of a newer LRT car beside an older one but MCI Classic 5085 got in the way. This set up another surprise about 30 seconds later.

Here's another rare sight, 7001 on 6th Ave SW working a 9 Varsity Acres. Until I captured this shot I was under the impression that Calgary Transit had retired all of their New Flyer D40's.

After spending most of the day trying I was finally able to get a decent shot of the old and the new side by side. 2028 leads a three car consist on the 7th Ave transit right of way nearing the end of her line at the 10th St West Station while 2261 brings up the rear of a three car consist loading up for Somerset Station.

877 is seen laying over preparing for an afternoon rush hour trip on the 7th Ave SW transit right of way. These work horses are long gone in Britich Columbia. I wonder how much longer they have in Calgary.

7744 is seen on the 7th Ave SW transit right of way. Too bad I didn't get an angle to let you know what route she was working.

7727 is seen on a layover on 9th Ave SW.

6010 loads up on 6th Ave SW working a 301 BRT West Limited Stops route.

6008 is seen going from the curb all the way to the far left lane working a BRT Eastbound Limited Stops route.

2266 brings up the rear of a three car consist on the 7th Ave SW transit right of way headed for Dalhousie Station. I wanted to take this shot because of the rare sight of a three car consist with a mix of new and old cars. Look what showed up on the left as I was taking the picture.

2259 brings up the rear of a three car consist headed for McKnight Station. Notice the one car in the middle is painted in the old livery but is infact one of the newer LRT cars. This seemd to be a common occurence while I was in Calgary, particularily on trains of all newer cars. Two cars in one livery and one in the other.
